In Patna Bihar, A train called the Delhi-Kamakhya North East Express derailed near the Raghunathpur station in Buxar district. This caused at least four people to lose their lives, and many others got hurt. Because of this, the Indian Railways had to cancel ten trains and change the route of 21 others.

The accident happened at 9:53 pm. Some of the train’s coaches, specifically two AC III Tier coaches, fell over, and four other coaches went off the tracks.
The Superintendent of Police in Buxar, Manish Kumar, told the news that four passengers lost their lives in the accident. The injured people were taken to nearby hospitals, and the ones with serious injuries were sent to AIIMS in Patna.
The Railway Minister, Ashwini Vaishnaw, said that they will investigate why the accident happened and offered his condolences to those who lost their lives.
